Assassin's Creed Odyssey - Present Day Materials - by Jonathan BENAINOUS

On Assassin's Creed Odyssey, I had the great pleasure to be owner of the Present Day Environment and in charge of the material creation.

The difficulty here was to keep consistency with the stylization of the whole game who takes place in ancient Greece.
Adding this twist on contemporary materials was pretty interesting and a good exercice to focus on enhancing the medium and large shapes.

Textures were fully made with Substance tools using the following pipeline:

-Height, Normal, AO, Curvature, ID mask made in Substance Designer

-Albedo and Glossiness made in Substance Painter using custom material library.
